  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Separate the egg into yolk and white.
  3. 3. Beat the butter with the sugar until creamy.
  4. 4. Add the egg yolk to the butter-sugar mixture and beat until fluffy.
  5. 5. Sift the flour over the mixture.
  6. 6. Process everything with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to form a crumbly dough.
  7. 7. Beat the egg white with a pinch of salt until lightly foamy.
  8. 8. Form small balls from the dough.
  9. 9. Flatten the balls slightly.
  10. 10. Roll the cookies first in the beaten egg white.
  11. 11. Then roll them in the hazelnuts.
  12. 12. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  13. 13. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
  14. 14. Remove the cookies from the oven.
  15. 15. Lift the baking paper with the cookies off the baking sheet.
  16. 16. Let the cookies cool down completely.
  17. 17. Chop the chocolate roughly.
  18. 18. Melt the chocolate over a hot, but not boiling, water bath.

  20. 20. Let the chocolate cool down to lukewarm.
  21. 21. Fill the chocolate into a freezer bag.
  22. 22. Cut off a small corner of the freezer bag.
  23. 23. Decorate the cooled cookies with the chocolate.
