🍽️ Crunchy Hazelnut Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- 160 g Butter
- 80 g Sugar
- 220 g Flour
- Salt
- 200 g chopped, peeled hazelnuts
- 150 g dark chocolate
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Separate the egg into yolk and white.
- 3. Beat the butter with the sugar until creamy.
- 4. Add the egg yolk to the butter-sugar mixture and beat until fluffy.
- 5. Sift the flour over the mixture.
- 6. Process everything with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to form a crumbly dough.
- 7. Beat the egg white with a pinch of salt until lightly foamy.
- 8. Form small balls from the dough.
- 9. Flatten the balls slightly.
- 10. Roll the cookies first in the beaten egg white.
- 11. Then roll them in the hazelnuts.
- 12. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 13. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 14. Remove the cookies from the oven.
- 15. Lift the baking paper with the cookies off the baking sheet.
- 16. Let the cookies cool down completely.
- 17. Chop the chocolate roughly.
- 18. Melt the chocolate over a hot, but not boiling, water bath.
- 19. Remove the bowl from the heat.
- 20. Let the chocolate cool down to lukewarm.
- 21. Fill the chocolate into a freezer bag.
- 22. Cut off a small corner of the freezer bag.
- 23. Decorate the cooled cookies with the chocolate.
- 24. Let the decorated cookies dry.
- 25. Serve the cookies.
