  2. 2. Add the butter in pieces and roughly cut it in with a dough scraper.
  3. 3. Work the egg into the mixture and knead everything quickly into a smooth dough.
  4. 4. Place the dough in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius using hot air mode.
  6. 6. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  7. 7. Dust your work surface with flour and roll out the dough to about 3 millimeters thick.
  8. 8. Cut out various shapes such as stars, bells, or moons.
  9. 9. Poke a small hole in each cookie with a skewer so you can hang them later.
  10. 10. Bake the cookies until golden brown for 8 to 12 minutes.
  11. 11. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
  12. 12. Squeeze the remaining lemon and sift the powdered sugar into a bowl.
  13. 13. Stir lemon juice and powdered sugar together to form a thick glaze.
