  1. 1. Put the flour and a pinch of salt into a large bowl.
  2. 2. Make a small well in the center of the flour with your hand.
  3. 3. Dissolve the yeast in about 220 milliliters of lukewarm water.
  4. 4. Add the honey and the yeast-water mixture into the well in the flour.
  5. 5. Stir the ingredients from the center outwards until they combine.
  6. 6. Add two tablespoons of olive oil gradually.
  7. 7. Knead the mixture until a loose dough forms.
  8. 8. Take the dough out and place it on a clean work surface.
  9. 9. Knead the dough vigorously by hand for five minutes.
  10. 10. Stop when the dough is elastic and smooth.
  11. 11. Put the remaining olive oil into a clean bowl.
  12. 12. Coat the inside of the bowl evenly with the oil.
  13. 13. Place the dough into the oiled bowl.
  14. 14. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel.
  15. 15. Let the dough rise at room temperature for 30 to 45 minutes.
  16. 16. Wait until the volume of the dough has doubled.
  17. 17. Now continue processing the dough according to your desired pizza recipe.
