  1. 1. Dissolve the yeast in a quarter liter of lukewarm water that you have mixed with sugar.
  2. 2. Knead the flour, salt, and oil into the yeast mixture until a smooth dough forms.
  3. 3. Let the dough rest in a warm place until its volume has doubled.
  4. 4. Grease two baking sheets with some fat.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees fan-forced.
  6. 6. Divide the dough into four equal pieces.
  7. 7. Roll out each piece into a rectangle of approximately 15 by 25 centimeters.
  8. 8. Form a small border along the edges of the dough surfaces.
  9. 9. Place the dough surfaces onto the prepared baking sheets.
  10. 10. Pre-bake the flatbreads in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes.
  11. 11. Stir the sour cream, cream cheese, and cream in a bowl until smooth.
  12. 12. Season the cream mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  13. 13. Peel the onion.
  14. 14. Slice the onion into thin rings.
  15. 15. Remove the pre-baked pizza bases from the oven.
  16. 16. Spread the cream cheese and sour cream mixture evenly over the pizza bases.
  17. 17. Scatter the chives and onion rings over the coated bases.
  18. 18. Bake the topped flatbreads for another 5 to 7 minutes in the oven.
  19. 19. Remove the finished flatbreads from the oven.
  20. 20. Garnish the flatbreads with fresh basil and serve them.
