🍕 Flatbread with Sour Cream and Onion Topping

Ingredients
- 20 g yeast
- 1 pinch sugar
- 300 g flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp oil
- 200 g sour cream
- 200 g cream cheese
- 50 ml whipping cream
- salt
- pepper
- 1 onion (blue)
- 2 tbsp chive rings
- basil
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast in a quarter liter of lukewarm water that you have mixed with sugar.
- 2. Knead the flour, salt, and oil into the yeast mixture until a smooth dough forms.
- 3. Let the dough rest in a warm place until its volume has doubled.
- 4. Grease two baking sheets with some fat.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees fan-forced.
- 6. Divide the dough into four equal pieces.
- 7. Roll out each piece into a rectangle of approximately 15 by 25 centimeters.
- 8. Form a small border along the edges of the dough surfaces.
- 9. Place the dough surfaces onto the prepared baking sheets.
- 10. Pre-bake the flatbreads in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes.
- 11. Stir the sour cream, cream cheese, and cream in a bowl until smooth.
- 12. Season the cream mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 13. Peel the onion.
- 14. Slice the onion into thin rings.
- 15. Remove the pre-baked pizza bases from the oven.
- 16. Spread the cream cheese and sour cream mixture evenly over the pizza bases.
- 17. Scatter the chives and onion rings over the coated bases.
- 18. Bake the topped flatbreads for another 5 to 7 minutes in the oven.
- 19. Remove the finished flatbreads from the oven.
- 20. Garnish the flatbreads with fresh basil and serve them.
