🍽️ Tuna Pizza Toast

Ingredients
- 140 g tomatoes (2 tomatoes)
- 5 slices whole wheat toast
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp red pesto (jar)
- 150 g tuna in its own juice
- 150 g mozzarella (9 % fat)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Cut out the hard stem areas from the tomatoes in a wedge shape.
- 3. Cut the tomatoes into narrow wedges.
- 4. Place the toast slices in the toaster.
- 5. Toast the slices lightly.
- 6. Put the tomato paste into a small bowl.
- 7. Mix the tomato paste with the pesto.
- 8. Spread the pesto mixture onto the toasted toast slices.
- 9. Place the tuna in a sieve.
- 10. Let the tuna drain well.
- 11. Place the drained tuna onto a plate.
- 12. Break up the tuna slightly with a fork.
- 13. Distribute the tuna over the toast slices.
- 14. Top the toast slices with the tomato wedges.
- 15. Drain the mozzarella.
- 16. Cut the mozzarella into small cubes.
- 17. Distribute the mozzarella cubes over the tomatoes.
- 18. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 19. Distribute the pizza toasts on the baking tray.
- 20. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- 21. Use the fan setting if your oven has this function.
- 22. Use gas level 2 to 3 if you have a gas oven.
- 23. Place the baking tray into the preheated oven.
- 24. Bake the toasts for about 5 minutes.
- 25. Remove the toasts when the cheese has melted.
