🍕 Mushroom Rosemary Pizza

Ingredients
- 2 sprigs rosemary
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 450 g mixed mushrooms (as desired)
- 2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- salt
- pepper
- 150 g goat gouda
- 4 pizza bases
- flour (for working)
- 100 ml quick tomato sauce
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the rosemary under running water.
- 2. Pluck the needles from the stems and chop them finely.
- 3. Mix the chopped needles with two tablespoons of olive oil.
- 4. Set the rosemary oil mixture aside.
- 5. Clean the mushrooms of dirt or debris.
- 6. Cut the mushrooms into coarse pieces.
- 7. Peel the onions.
- 8. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 9. Finely chop the onions and garlic.
- 10. Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan.
- 11. Fry the onions and garlic for one minute.
- 12. Add the mushroom pieces to the pan.
- 13. Fry the mushrooms for three to four minutes while stirring constantly.
- 14. Season the mushroom mixture with salt and pepper.
- 15. Coarsely grate the goat Gouda cheese.
- 16. Dust the work surface with flour.
- 17. Divide the homemade pizza dough into four equal parts.
- 18. Roll each part into an oblong flatbread about one centimeter thick.
- 19. Prepare store-bought pizza bases according to the package instructions if you use them.
- 20. Place two pizza flatbreads on a lightly floured baking sheet.
- 21. Brush the dough flatbreads with the rosemary oil mixture.
- 22. Spread two tablespoons of tomato sauce on each flatbread.
- 23. Distribute the fried mushrooms over the pizzas.
- 24. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the toppings.
- 25. Preheat the oven to 240 degrees.
- 26. Place the pizzas on the lowest rack.
- 27. Bake the pizzas in two batches for twelve to fifteen minutes.
