🍕 Homemade Pizza Dough Mix

Ingredients
- 0.5 cube yeast
- 1 pinch sugar
- 400 g flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 800 g ripe tomatoes
- 300 g mozzarella
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 bunch basil
Instructions
- 1. Crumble the yeast into a large bowl.
- 2. Pour in about 200 ml of lukewarm water and the sugar.
- 3. Stir the mixture until smooth and the yeast has dissolved.
- 4. Add the flour, the olive oil, and the salt.
- 5. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 6. Cover the bowl.
- 7. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- 8. Divide the dough into 4 equal balls.
- 9. Dust some flour onto your work surface.
- 10. Roll each ball into a round flatbread of approx. 22 cm diameter.
- 11. Make sure the edge remains slightly thicker than the center.
- 12. Grease two baking sheets.
- 13. Place the dough bases onto the sheets.
- 14. Peel the tomatoes.
- 15. Chop the peeled tomatoes finely.
- 16. Season the tomato pieces with salt and pepper.
- 17. Spread the tomatoes over the pizza bases.
- 18. Leave a small border around the pizza free.
- 19. Slice the mozzarella into thin slices.
- 20. Place the cheese slices on the tomatoes.
- 21. Drizzle the pizzas with a little olive oil.
- 22. Preheat the oven to 220 °C.
- 23. Place two pizzas in the oven.
- 24. Bake them for 10 minutes.
- 25. Take the pizzas out of the oven briefly.
- 26. Sprinkle them with chopped basil.
- 27. Add a little more olive oil.
- 28. Put the pizzas back in the oven.
- 29. Bake them for another 10 minutes.
- 30. Repeat the process with the remaining two pizzas.
- 31. You can top the pizza with additional ingredients as you like.
- 32. Option A: Use blanched spinach and mature goat fresh cheese.
- 33. Option B: Use cooked ham and mushroom slices.
- 34. Option C: Use salami slices.
- 35. Option D: Use artichoke hearts from a jar.
- 36. Option E: Use olive slices and pickled peppers.
