🍕 Pizza with Tomatoes, Chorizo and Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 0.5 cube yeast (21 g)
- 400 g flour
- 1 tbsp salt
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- flour (for the work surface)
- 450 g chunky tomatoes (can)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 300 g sausages (e.g. chorizo)
- 300 g cherry tomatoes
- 150 g mushrooms
- 100 g grated cheese (e.g. Gouda)
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast in 200 ml of lukewarm water.
- 2. Mix the flour with the salt in a bowl.
- 3. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture.
- 4. Pour the yeast water and the oil into the well.
- 5. Knead everything into a smooth dough using your hands or a dough hook.
- 6. If the dough is too dry, add a little lukewarm water.
- 7. If the dough is too wet, knead in a little more flour.
- 8. Knead the dough vigorously on a floured surface.
- 9. Let the dough rise, covered, in a warm place for approx. 1 hour.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top and bottom heat).
- 11. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 12. Knead the dough vigorously again after it has risen.
- 13. Roll out the dough.
- 14. Place the dough on the prepared baking tray.
- 15. Mix the tomatoes with the oregano.
- 16. Season the tomato mixture with salt and pepper.
- 17. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 18. Add the chopped garlic to the tomato mixture.
- 19. Spread the tomato mixture evenly over the dough.
- 20. Slice the chorizo sausage slightly diagonally.
- 21. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into quarters.
- 22. Clean the mushrooms and slice them.
- 23. Top the pizza evenly with sausage, tomatoes, and mushrooms.
- 24. Sprinkle the cheese over the pizza.
- 25. Bake the pizza in the oven for approx. 30 minutes until golden brown.
- 26. Take the pizza out of the oven.
- 27. Cut the pizza into pieces.
- 28. Serve the pizza.
