🍕 Pizza mit Spinach

Ingredients
- 1 cube yeast
- 500 g flour
- 1 tbsp salt
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- flour (for the work surface)
- oil (for the baking sheet)
- 450 g chunky tomatoes (can)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 500 g fresh leaf spinach
- 1 tbsp capers
- 50 g green, pitted olives
- 3 balls mozzarella (125 g each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for drizzling)
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast in 250 milliliters of lukewarm water.
- 2. Mix the flour with the salt and put the mixture into a bowl.
- 3. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture.
- 4. Pour the yeast water and the oil into the well.
- 5. Knead the ingredients by hand or with the dough hook of the hand mixer into a smooth dough.
- 6. If the dough seems too dry, add a little more lukewarm water.
- 7. If the dough seems too wet, work in a little more flour.
- 8. Knead the dough vigorously on a floured work surface for about 10 minutes.
- 9. Let the dough rise, covered, in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
- 11. Brush a baking tray with 1 to 2 tablespoons of oil.
- 12. Knead the dough vigorously again after it has risen.
- 13. Roll out the dough and place it on the prepared tray.
- 14. Form a crust edge on the dough.
- 15. Mix the tomatoes with the oregano.
- 16. Season the tomato mixture with salt and pepper.
- 17. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 18. Add the chopped garlic to the tomato mixture.
- 19. Wash the spinach and remove the tough stems.
- 20. Blanch the spinach briefly in salted water (cook briefly in boiling water).
- 21. Shock the spinach to stop the cooking process.
- 22. Squeeze the spinach well to remove excess water.
- 23. Chop the spinach coarsely.
- 24. Mix the chopped spinach with the capers.
- 25. Slice the olives.
- 26. Slice the mozzarella.
- 27. Spread the tomato mixture evenly over the dough.
- 28. Distribute the spinach and mozzarella over the pizza.
- 29. Sprinkle the pizza with the olive slices.
- 30. Season the pizza with pepper.
- 31. Drizzle the pizza with olive oil.
