  2. 2. Stir the yeast with the sugar and about 200 milliliters of lukewarm water until smooth.
  3. 3. Add the flour, the olive oil, and the salt.
  4. 4. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
  5. 5. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven with the baking sheets to 240 degrees.
  7. 7. Divide the dough into 4 equal balls.
  8. 8. Dust some flour on the work surface.
  9. 9. Roll each dough ball into a round flatbread with a diameter of 20 to 24 centimeters.
  10. 10. Place the pizza bases on baking paper.
  11. 11. Peel the tomatoes.
  12. 12. Quarter the tomatoes and remove the seeds.
  13. 13. Dice the tomatoes finely.
  14. 14. Add the thyme to the tomatoes.
  15. 15. Lightly salt and pepper the tomatoes.
  16. 16. Season the tomatoes with a little sugar.
  17. 17. Dice the ham.
  18. 18. Mix the ham into the tomatoes.
  19. 19. Wash the spinach.
  20. 20. Remove the tough stems from the spinach.

  22. 22. Distribute the tomato mixture on the pizza bases.
  23. 23. Leave a border of about 1 centimeter free.
  24. 24. Sprinkle the pizzas with the ham.
  25. 25. Sprinkle the pizzas with the cheese.
  26. 26. Sprinkle the pizzas with the spinach.
  27. 27. Drizzle the pizzas with a little oil.
  28. 28. Place the baking paper with the pizzas on the hot baking sheets.
  29. 29. Bake the pizzas in the preheated oven for about 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
