🍕 Salami and Cheese Pizza

Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 20 g yeast
- 0.125 l lukewarm water
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- 400 g tomatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 200 g mozzarella
- 150 g salami
Instructions
- 1. Sift the flour into a large bowl.
- 2. Make a well in the center of the flour.
- 3. Crumble the yeast into some water and pour it into the well.
- 4. Lightly cover the yeast with flour.
- 5. Let the mixture rest covered for 15 minutes.
- 6. Add the remaining water, salt, and oil.
- 7. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 8. Let the dough rise covered in a warm place for 1 hour.
- 9. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes.
- 10. Shock the tomatoes immediately with cold water.
- 11. Peel the skin off the tomatoes.
- 12. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes.
- 13. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pot.
- 14. Simmer the tomato cubes with the oil for a short time.
- 15. Season the sauce with thyme, salt, and pepper.
- 16. Slice the mozzarella.
- 17. Slice the salami thinly.
- 18. Lightly grease the pizza pan.
- 19. Knead the dough briefly again.
- 20. Roll out the dough.
- 21. Place the dough in the prepared pan.
- 22. Shape the edge slightly thicker than the center.
- 23. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius.
- 24. Spread the tomato sauce over the dough.
- 25. Top the pizza with mozzarella and salami slices.
- 26. Drizzle some olive oil over the toppings.
- 27. Bake the pizza in the hot oven for about 12 to 15 minutes.
- 28. Remove the pizza when the cheese has melted.
