  1. 1. Stir the yeast into 250 milliliters of lukewarm water in a small bowl.
  2. 2. Mix the flour with the salt and the sugar in a large bowl.
  3. 3. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture.
  4. 4. Pour the yeast-water mixture and the oil into the well.
  5. 5. Work all ingredients into a smooth dough using your hands or a dough hook.
  6. 6. If the dough seems too dry, work in a little lukewarm water.
  7. 7. If the dough seems too sticky, add a little more flour.
  8. 8. Knead the dough vigorously on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
  9. 9. Let the dough rise, covered, in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  10. 10. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them finely.
  11. 11. Sauté the garlic in a pot with 1 tablespoon of hot oil until translucent.
  12. 12. Pour the tomatoes over the garlic.
  13. 13. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and oregano.
  14. 14. Simmer the sauce over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  15. 15. Remove the pot from the heat and let the sauce cool down.
  16. 16. Wash the bell peppers and cut off the tops.
  17. 17. Remove the core from the bell peppers.
  18. 18. Slice the bell peppers into thin rings.
  19. 19. Wash the chili peppers and remove the stems.
  20. 20. Slice the chili peppers.
  21. 21. Optionally remove the seeds from the chili peppers.
  22. 22. Wash and trim the spring onions.
  23. 23. Dice the spring onions into small cubes.
  24. 24. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  25. 25. Line a baking sheet (30x40 cm) or two small sheets (20x30 cm) with baking paper.
  26. 26. Knead the dough briefly again after it has risen.
  27. 27. Stretch the dough out on the prepared baking sheet.
  28. 28. Shape the edge of the dough slightly thicker than the center.
  29. 29. Spread the cooled tomato sauce over the dough.
  30. 30. Top the pizza with the slices of pancetta.
  31. 31. Distribute the bell pepper and chili rings, as well as the spring onions, on top.
  32. 32. Season the toppings lightly with pepper.
  33. 33. Drizzle the pizza with a little olive oil.
  34. 34. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
  35. 35. Remove the finished pizza from the oven.
  36. 36. Cut the pizza into pieces and serve.
