🍕 Crispy Pizza with Cherry Tomatoes, Parma Ham, and Arugula

Ingredients
- 400 g pizza dough (refrigerated section)
- 200 g pizza tomatoes (can)
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- salt
- pepper
- 125 g mozzarella (9% fat)
- 50 g grated Gouda
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 100 g fresh mushrooms
- 100 g arugula
- 150 g Parma ham (in thin slices)
- 50 g Parmesan (1 piece)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 220 degrees Celsius. If you are using a fan-assisted oven, set it to 200 degrees Celsius. For gas ovens, set the dial to level 3–4.
- 2. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 3. Roll out the pizza dough so that it roughly matches the size of your baking tray.
- 4. Place the rolled-out dough onto the prepared baking tray.
- 5. Mix the pizza tomatoes with the tomato paste and the oregano.
- 6. Season the tomato mixture with salt and pepper to your liking.
- 7. Spread the seasoned tomato mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
- 8. Cut the mozzarella into small cubes.
- 9. Mix the mozzarella cubes with the Gouda cheese.
- 10. Distribute the cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- 11. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake the pizza for about 30 minutes.
- 12. Wash the cherry tomatoes under running water.
- 13. Dry the cherry tomatoes with a kitchen towel.
- 14. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
- 15. Clean the mushrooms, meaning remove any dirt or tough stem ends.
- 16. Slice the mushrooms into thin rounds.
- 17. Wait until there are about 5 minutes of baking time left.
- 18. Take the pizza out of the oven briefly.
- 19. Distribute the mushroom slices and the halved cherry tomatoes over the pizza.
- 20. Put the pizza back in the oven and finish baking it.
- 21. Wash the arugula under running water.
- 22. Dry the arugula, for example in a salad spinner.
- 23. Take the finished pizza out of the oven.
- 24. Top the hot pizza with the slices of Parma ham.
- 25. Distribute the dry arugula over the pizza.
- 26. Grate fresh Parmesan cheese over the pizza.
- 27. Serve the pizza immediately while it is still warm.
