  1. 1. Crumble the yeast into a large bowl.
  2. 2. Mix the yeast with the sugar and 200 milliliters of lukewarm water until a smooth liquid forms.
  3. 3. Add the flour, 4 tablespoons of olive oil, and a pinch of salt to the yeast mixture.
  4. 4. Knead the ingredients into a smooth dough.
  5. 5. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 240 degrees Celsius with fan setting and place the baking trays inside.
  7. 7. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and shape them into balls.
  8. 8. Dust some flour on the work surface and roll each dough ball into a round flatbread with a diameter of approx. 22 centimeters.
  9. 9. Make sure the edge remains slightly thicker than the center.
  10. 10. Place the pizza bases on trays lined with baking paper or on lightly oiled pizza trays.
  11. 11. Mix the pureed tomatoes with the oregano.
  12. 12. Season the tomato sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  13. 13. Spread the sauce evenly over the pizza bases, but leave the edge free.
  14. 14. Wash the cherry tomatoes thoroughly.
  15. 15. Remove the stems from the tomatoes.
  16. 16. Dry the tomatoes well so they do not release water.
  17. 17. Distribute the halved or whole cherry tomatoes over the pizzas.
  18. 18. Slice the mozzarella into thin slices.
  19. 19. Place the mozzarella slices on top of the tomatoes.
  20. 20. Season the pizzas again generously with salt and pepper.
  21. 21. Drizzle some olive oil over the toppings.
  22. 22. Carefully slide the pizzas onto the hot baking trays.
  23. 23. Bake the pizzas for approx. 10 minutes in the preheated oven until the crust is golden brown.
  24. 24. Sprinkle the finished pizzas with fresh basil leaves.
  25. 25. Serve the pizzas immediately while hot.
