🍕 Chicken and Pepper Pizza

Ingredients
- 500 g double-strong flour (preferably Wiener Griessler)
- 1 cube yeast
- 0.5 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 250 ml warm water
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- half red bell peppers
- half green bell peppers
- half yellow bell peppers
- 2 small white onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 6 tbsp chopped tomatoes (can)
- 200 g mozzarella
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- olive oil (cold-pressed)
- rosemary needle
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Put the flour into a large bowl.
- 2. Make a well in the center of the flour.
- 3. Crumble the yeast into the well.
- 4. Sprinkle the sugar over the yeast.
- 5. Pour about three to four tablespoons of warm water over the yeast until it is covered.
- 6. Let the mixture rest for ten minutes.
- 7. Knead the flour into a dough by gradually adding some of the remaining warm water.
- 8. Ensure the dough is neither too sticky nor too dry; add more water or flour if necessary.
- 9. Knead the dough until it is elastic.
- 10. Shape the dough into a ball.
- 11. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm, draft-free place for about one hour.
- 12. Wash the bell peppers thoroughly.
- 13. Halve the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- 14. Cut the pepper flesh into thin strips.
- 15. Peel the onions.
- 16. Slice the onions into rings.
- 17. Peel the garlic.
- 18. Slice the garlic thinly.
- 19. Wash the chicken breast fillets.
- 20. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 21. Cut the chicken meat into thin strips.
- 22. Heat one to two tablespoons of oil in a frying pan.
- 23. Fry the chicken meat briefly and over high heat.
- 24. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
- 25. Remove the meat from the pan and set it aside.
- 26. Drain the mozzarella.
- 27. Cut the mozzarella into small pieces.
- 28. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
- 29. Divide the dough into two equal halves.
- 30. Dust a work surface with flour.
- 31. Roll the first portion of dough into a round flatbread.
- 32. Place the dough flatbread on a pizza tray.
- 33. Repeat the rolling and placing with the second portion of dough.
- 34. Spread three tablespoons of chopped tomatoes on each dough base.
- 35. Sprinkle oregano over the tomato sauce.
- 36. Add the sliced garlic cloves.
- 37. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 38. Top the pizzas with the fried chicken meat.
- 39. Distribute the pepper strips evenly over the top.
- 40. Add the onion rings.
- 41. Sprinkle the mozzarella over the top.
- 42. Sprinkle the pizzas with fresh rosemary.
- 43. Drizzle each pizza with one to two tablespoons of olive oil.
- 44. Slide the pizzas into the preheated oven.
- 45. Bake the pizzas at 250 degrees convection for 20 to 25 minutes.
- 46. It is best to put both pizzas in the oven at the same time.
- 47. Remove the pizzas from the oven as soon as they are done.
- 48. Serve the pizzas immediately while hot.
