🍕 Bratwurst and Cheese Pizza

Ingredients
- 600 g pizza tomatoes (can)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 raw bratwursts
- 300 g cherry tomatoes
- 120 g grated Emmental
- olive oil (for the pizza trays)
Instructions
- 1. Crumble the yeast into a large bowl.
- 2. Mix the yeast with the sugar and about 200 milliliters of lukewarm water until a smooth liquid forms.
- 3. Add the flour, the olive oil, and one teaspoon of salt to the yeast mixture.
- 4. Knead the ingredients into an elastic and smooth dough.
- 5. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for about one hour.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 7. Divide the dough into four equal parts and shape them into balls.
- 8. Dust some flour on the work surface and roll each dough ball into a round flatbread with a diameter of about 24 centimeters.
- 9. Make sure that the edge of the dough remains slightly thicker than the center.
- 10. Place the dough bases on four pizza trays greased with oil.
- 11. Spread the pizza tomatoes evenly over the dough bases.
- 12. Season the tomato sauce with a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper.
- 13. Cut the bratwursts into small pieces.
- 14. Wash the fresh tomatoes and halve them.
- 15. Distribute the bratwurst pieces and the halved tomatoes evenly over the four pizzas.
- 16. Spread the cheese over the toppings.
- 17. Put the pizzas in the preheated oven and bake them for about 20 minutes.
