🍕 Pizza Caprese

Ingredients
- 500 g double-zero flour
- 1 cube yeast (42 g)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 pinch sugar
- 250 ml lukewarm water
- 400 g chunky tomatoes (can)
- 400 g buffalo mozzarella
- 1 handful fresh basil
- pepper (freshly grated)
- salt
- olive oil (cold-pressed)
- 60 g freshly grated Parmesan
Instructions
- 1. Pour the flour onto a clean work surface.
- 2. Use your hand to form a well in the center of the flour.
- 3. Crumble the yeast into the well.
- 4. Sprinkle the sugar over the yeast.
- 5. Add a little of the lukewarm water.
- 6. Stir the mixture gently.
- 7. Let the mixture rise for about 15 minutes.
- 8. Add the salt and the remaining lukewarm water.
- 9. Knead everything into a smooth yeast dough.
- 10. If the dough is too soft, add a little more flour.
- 11. If the dough is too firm, add a little more lukewarm water.
- 12. Cover the dough.
- 13. Let the dough rise in a warm, draft-free place for about 45 minutes.
- 14. Preheat the oven to 220°C fan-forced.
- 15. Brush the pizza trays with oil.
- 16. Sprinkle flour on the work surface.
- 17. Divide the dough into four parts.
- 18. Roll out the dough pieces with a rolling pin.
- 19. Press the dough into the pizza trays.
- 20. Form a crust edge on the dough.
- 21. Spread the tomatoes over the dough.
- 22. Slice the mozzarella.
- 23. Top the pizza with the mozzarella slices.
- 24. Season the pizza with salt and pepper.
- 25. Drizzle the pizza with olive oil.
- 26. Sprinkle the Parmesan over the pizza.
- 27. Top the pizza with basil leaves.
- 28. Bake the pizza in the oven for about 25 minutes.
