  1. 1. Sift the powdered sugar and cocoa powder together into a saucepan.
  2. 2. Add the butter and milk to the dry mixture.
  3. 3. Heat the mixture while stirring constantly until it comes to a boil.
  4. 4. Let the caramel mixture simmer on medium heat for about 20 minutes.
  5. 5. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
  6. 6. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the pistachios and vanilla seeds.
  7. 7. Grease a baking pan with a little butter.
  8. 8. Pour the warm caramel mixture into the prepared pan.
  9. 9. Smooth the surface with a spoon or spatula.
  10. 10. Place the pan on a wire rack and let the cake cool down completely.
  11. 11. Allow the mixture to set while cooling.
  12. 12. Mix powdered sugar with one to two teaspoons of lemon juice to create a thick glaze.
  13. 13. Turn the cooled cake out of the pan.
  14. 14. Fill the lemon glaze into a small piping bag.
  15. 15. Decorate the surface of the caramel with fine lines from the bag.
  16. 16. Let the decoration dry for a short while.
  17. 17. Cut the bar into squares of about 2.5 centimeters.
  18. 18. Store the pieces well packed in an airtight container.
