  5. 5. Stir the flour into the melted butter.
  6. 6. Pour the milk into the mixture gradually while stirring constantly.
  7. 7. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens.
  8. 8. Melt the remaining butter in a frying pan.
  9. 9. Sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.
  10. 10. Add the mushrooms and cook them over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes until soft.
