🥤 Spicy Tomato Buttermilk Layered Drink

Ingredients
- 0.5 red chili pepper
- 3 sprigs basil
- 275 g buttermilk
- 1 tsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 0.5 lemon
- 200 ml tomato juice
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the half chili pod under running water.
- 2. Dry the chili pod with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Remove the seeds from the chili pod.
- 4. Finely chop the chili pod.
- 5. Wash the basilisk under running water.
- 6. Shake the basil dry.
- 7. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
- 8. Set aside a few nice basil leaves for decoration.
- 9. Finely chop the remaining basil leaves.
- 10. Place the chopped chili and basil into a bowl.
- 11. Pour the buttermilk in.
- 12. Add the olive oil.
- 13. Stir the mixture well with a spoon.
- 14. Season the mixture with salt.
- 15. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 16. Fill the buttermilk mixture into two glasses.
- 17. Place the glasses in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
- 18. Squeeze the lemon to extract the juice.
- 19. Place the tomato juice in a separate bowl.
- 20. Add about one tablespoon of lemon juice to the tomato juice.
- 21. Season the tomato juice with salt.
- 22. Season the tomato juice with pepper.
- 23. Take the glasses with the buttermilk out of the refrigerator.
- 24. Hold a spoon over one glass.
- 25. Pour the tomato juice carefully over the back of the spoon into the glass.
- 26. Repeat the pouring for the second glass.
- 27. Ensure that two distinct layers form.
- 28. Garnish the drinks with the reserved basil leaves.
- 29. Serve the drinks immediately.
