  1. 1. Put flour, one egg yolk, salt, sugar, 3 tablespoons of oil, and 100 milliliters of lukewarm water into a bowl.
  2. 2. Knead the ingredients into a smooth dough.
  3. 3. Shape the dough into a ball.
  4. 4. Wrap the dough ball in plastic wrap.
  5. 5. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
  6. 6. Wash the chard thoroughly.
  7. 7. Remove the tough ends of the stems.
  8. 8. Cut the chard stems into thin strips.
  9. 9. Roughly chop the green chard leaves.
  10. 10. Peel the onions and the garlic clove.
  11. 11. Finely chop the onions and garlic.
  12. 12. Heat some oil in a pan.
  13. 13. Sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.
  14. 14. Add the chard stems to the pan.
  15. 15. Cook the stems for 5 minutes.
  16. 16. Add the chard leaves to the pan.
  17. 17. Cook the leaves for another 3 minutes.
  18. 18. Season the filling to taste with salt and pepper.
  19. 19. Serve the finished strudel warm.
