  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Wash the peppers thoroughly.
  3. 3. Cut the peppers in half lengthwise.
  4. 4. Remove the seeds and the white inner membranes.
  5. 5. Place the pepper halves skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  6. 6. Put the tray into the preheated oven.
  7. 7. Roast the peppers until the skin turns black and blisters.
  8. 8. Take the pepper halves out of the oven.
  9. 9. Cover the hot pepper pieces with a damp kitchen towel.
  10. 10. Let the peppers rest for a short time.
  11. 11. Peel the skin off the pepper halves.
  12. 12. Cut the peeled pepper halves into small cubes.
  13. 13. Set aside two tablespoons of the pepper cubes.
  14. 14. Peel the garlic.
  15. 15. Roughly chop the garlic.
  16. 16. Put the chopped garlic, pine nuts, and remaining pepper cubes into a blender.
  17. 17. Blend the ingredients until smooth.
  18. 18. Drizzle in oil gradually.
  19. 19. Continue blending until a creamy mass forms.
  20. 20. Season the dip with salt.
  21. 21. Season the dip with pepper.
  22. 22. Add a little honey.
  23. 23. Add a little lemon juice.
  24. 24. Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning if needed.
  25. 25. Add the previously set aside pepper cubes back into the dip.
