🍽️ Spicy Pepper Dip

Ingredients
- 4 red bell peppers
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp roasted pine nuts
- 100 ml olive oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tsp liquid honey
- lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the peppers thoroughly.
- 3. Cut the peppers in half lengthwise.
- 4. Remove the seeds and the white inner membranes.
- 5. Place the pepper halves skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 6. Put the tray into the preheated oven.
- 7. Roast the peppers until the skin turns black and blisters.
- 8. Take the pepper halves out of the oven.
- 9. Cover the hot pepper pieces with a damp kitchen towel.
- 10. Let the peppers rest for a short time.
- 11. Peel the skin off the pepper halves.
- 12. Cut the peeled pepper halves into small cubes.
- 13. Set aside two tablespoons of the pepper cubes.
- 14. Peel the garlic.
- 15. Roughly chop the garlic.
- 16. Put the chopped garlic, pine nuts, and remaining pepper cubes into a blender.
- 17. Blend the ingredients until smooth.
- 18. Drizzle in oil gradually.
- 19. Continue blending until a creamy mass forms.
- 20. Season the dip with salt.
- 21. Season the dip with pepper.
- 22. Add a little honey.
- 23. Add a little lemon juice.
- 24. Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning if needed.
- 25. Add the previously set aside pepper cubes back into the dip.
- 26. Stir the cubes in.
- 27. Serve the dip in small bowls.
