🍽️ Spicy Paprika Cream Cheese Dip

Ingredients
- 0.5 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp paprika paste
- 2 tsp paprika powder (sweet)
- 0.5 tsp paprika powder (hot)
- 100 g cream cheese
- 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 slices whole grain bread
- chive rolls (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 2. Finely chop the onion and the garlic.
- 3. Heat the butter in a pan.
- 4. Add the onions and garlic to the hot butter.
- 5. Sauté the vegetables for 2 to 3 minutes until soft and translucent.
- 6. Stir in the paprika paste (concentrated paprika paste) into the vegetables.
- 7. Sprinkle both types of paprika powder over the mixture.
- 8. Cook the spices in for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- 9. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 10. Transfer the hot vegetable mixture into a bowl.
- 11. Let the mixture cool down briefly.
- 12. Add the cream cheese amount to the cooled mixture.
- 13. Add the yogurt amount.
- 14. Mix all ingredients thoroughly together.
- 15. Season the dip with salt and pepper to taste.
- 16. Sprinkle fresh chives over the dip.
- 17. Serve the dip on the bread.
