🍽️ Spicy Melon and Cucumber Salad

Ingredients
- 1 Galia melon (ca. 500g)
- 100 g oval red cherry tomatoes
- 120 g cucumber
- 1 red chili pepper
- 1 watercress
- chicory
- radicchio
- 3 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 pinch sugar
- 1 dash lime juice
- 4 tbsp grape seed oil
Instructions
- 1. Cut the melon in half.
- 2. Remove the seeds with a spoon.
- 3. Scoop out small balls from the flesh using a melon baller.
- 4. Wash the tomatoes under running water.
- 5. Trim off the hard stem ends of the tomatoes.
- 6. Cut the tomatoes in half crosswise.
- 7. Wash the cucumber under running water.
- 8. Cut the cucumber into sticks about 6 cm long and 0.5 cm wide.
- 9. Remove the stem end of the chili pepper.
- 10. Slice the chili pepper into thin rings.
- 11. Remove the seeds from the chili rings.
- 12. Place the melon balls, tomatoes, cucumber sticks, and chili rings in a large bowl.
- 13. Add the watercress leaves.
- 14. Add the chicory leaves.
- 15. Add the radicchio leaves.
- 16. Whisk the sauce ingredients together in a separate bowl.
- 17. Pour the sauce over the salad.
- 18. Let the salad marinate for 10 minutes.
