🍽️ Spicy Mango Salad with Feta

Ingredients
- 300 g small, ripe mango (1 small, ripe mango)
- 4 stalks chives
- 1 sprig basil
- 0.5 organic lemon
- pepper (from the mill)
- 10 g sheep's milk cheese (9 % fat absolute)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the mango thoroughly and pat it dry.
- 2. Peel off the skin using a vegetable peeler.
- 3. Slice the flesh off the pit in thick pieces.
- 4. Dice the fruit into small cubes.
- 5. Place the mango cubes into a bowl.
- 6. Wash the fresh herbs and shake off excess water.
- 7. Cut the chives into fine rings.
- 8. Pluck the basil leaves off the stems.
- 9. Set aside a few nice basil leaves for garnish.
- 10. Cut the remaining basil into fine strips.
- 11. Squeeze the lemon to extract the juice.
- 12. Add the lemon juice to the mango cubes.
- 13. Add the chopped chives.
- 14. Add the basil strips.
- 15. Season the mixture with black pepper.
- 16. Let the salad marinate for ten minutes.
- 17. Plate the salad.
- 18. Pat the feta cheese dry with kitchen paper.
- 19. Crumble the cheese over the salad with your fingers.
- 20. Garnish the salad with the reserved basil leaves.
