Ingredients
- 200 g whole wheat flour
- 80 g cold butter
- egg
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp milk
- 250 g low-fat quark
- 200 g cream cheese
- 200 g sour cream
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 eggs
- 4 tbsp finely chopped parsley
- 4 tbsp chive rings
Instructions
- 1. Pre-chill the fridge by setting it to the standard temperature.
- 2. Put the flour into a large bowl.
- 3. Cut the butter into small cubes.
- 4. Add the butter cubes to the flour.
- 5. Crack an egg into the bowl.
- 6. Add a pinch of salt.
- 7. Pour in the milk.
- 8. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 9. Roll out the dough flat with a rolling pin.
- 10. Grease a cake pan with a height of 3 cm.
- 11. Line the form with the dough to cover the bottom and sides.
- 12. Place the form in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- 13. Take the form out of the fridge.
- 14. Put the quark (curd cheese) into a separate bowl.
- 15. Add the cream cheese.
- 16. Add the sour cream (Schmand).
- 17. Add some salt.
- 18. Add some pepper.
- 19. Press the garlic through a garlic press.
- 20. Add the pressed garlic to the bowl.
- 21. Crack the eggs into the bowl.
- 22. Whisk all ingredients well together.
- 23. Finely chop the herbs.
- 24. Gently fold the herbs into the cheese mixture.
- 25. Pour the cheese mixture onto the dough in the pan.
- 26. Spread the mixture evenly.
- 27. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 28. Place the form in the center of the oven.
- 29. Bake the cake for approx. 60 minutes.
- 30. Turn off the oven after the baking time.
- 31. Let the cake rest for another 10 minutes in the turned-off oven.
