🍽️ Savory Waffles with Yogurt Dip

Ingredients
- 100 g soft butter
- 250 g yogurt (3.5% fat)
- 150 g feta (45% fat in brine)
- 250 g whole wheat flour
- 3 eggs
- 2 spring onions
- pepper
- 0.5 apple
- 100 g radishes
- 100 g low-fat quark
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Put the butter, 150 grams of yogurt, crumbled feta, and flour into a large bowl.
- 2. Add the eggs and 50 to 80 milliliters of water.
- 3. Mix everything with the beaters of a hand mixer until you have a smooth batter.
- 4. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
- 5. Clean and wash the spring onions.
- 6. Slice them into rings.
- 7. Set aside the green tops for the dip.
- 8. Stir the white onion rings into the batter.
- 9. Season with pepper.
- 10. Peel and wash the apple.
- 11. Remove the core.
- 12. Grate it coarsely.
- 13. Clean and wash the radishes.
- 14. Slice them into thin strips.
- 15. Mix the remaining yogurt, quark (a type of fresh cheese), grated apple, and radish strips thoroughly.
- 16. Fold in the reserved green spring onion tops.
- 17. Season the dip with salt and pepper.
- 18. Preheat a non-stick waffle iron.
- 19. Stir the batter once more.
- 20. Bake about 8 waffles one after the other.
- 21. For each waffle, place 2 to 3 tablespoons of batter on the bottom plate.
- 22. Close the waffle iron.
- 23. Bake the waffle for about 4 minutes until golden brown.
- 24. Remove the finished waffles.
- 25. Serve them with the dip.
