🍽️ Spicy turkey breast with fresh tomato salsa

Ingredients
- 800 g turkey breast fillet
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped oregano
- 1 tbsp paprika powder
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 6 tomatoes
- 2 red onions
- 1 green chili pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the turkey breast under running water.
- 2. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Slice the turkey breast into 8 to 12 thin slices.
- 4. Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press.
- 5. Mix the garlic with oregano, paprika powder, and oil in a bowl.
- 6. Turn the meat slices in the spice mixture until they are evenly coated.
- 7. Let the meat marinate for approx. 30 minutes.
- 8. Rinse the tomatoes under running water.
- 9. Quarter the tomatoes and remove the core.
- 10. Dice the cored tomatoes finely.
- 11. Peel the onions and dice them finely.
- 12. Rinse the chili peppers under running water.
- 13. Slice the chili peppers lengthwise.
- 14. Remove the seeds from the chili peppers.
- 15. Finely chop the chili peppers.
- 16. Mix the diced tomatoes, onions, chili peppers, coriander, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- 17. Season the salsa with salt and pepper to taste.
- 18. Heat a non-stick pan without adding extra fat.
- 19. Fry the turkey slices for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 20. Lightly salt the fried turkey breast.
- 21. Serve the turkey breast warm or cold together with the tomato salsa.
