🍽️ Spicy Chicken Meatballs

Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast fillet
- 2 slices toast bread
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 chili pepper
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped lemon thyme
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1 egg
- salt
- breadcrumbs
- sunflower oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken breast fillets thoroughly.
- 2. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Mince the meat very finely or push it through a meat grinder.
- 4. Crumble the toast slices into small pieces.
- 5. Mix the bread crumbs with the yogurt.
- 6. Peel the garlic clove.
- 7. Mince the garlic finely.
- 8. Mince the chili pepper finely as well.
- 9. Add the minced garlic and chili to the chicken meat.
- 10. Add the yogurt and bread mixture.
- 11. Add fresh thyme.
- 12. Add grated ginger.
- 13. Add the egg.
- 14. Mix all ingredients well with the meat.
- 15. Season the mixture with salt.
- 16. Check the consistency of the mixture.
- 17. If the mixture is too soft, add more white bread crumbs.
- 18. Form about 16 small meatballs from the mixture.
- 19. Heat oil in a frying pan.
- 20. Fry the meatballs in the hot oil.
- 21. Fry each side for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- 22. Fry the meatballs until golden brown.
