Ingredients
- 100 g dried porcini mushrooms
- 300 g spelt flour
- 1 pinch baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 30 g melted butter
- 150 ml milk
Instructions
- 1. Put the dried mushrooms into a blender or food processor.
- 2. Grind the mushrooms into a fine powder.
- 3. Add all other ingredients and 100 milliliters of water to the mushroom mixture.
- 4. Mix everything with a hand mixer using a dough hook until you have a firm dough.
- 5. If the dough is too dry, add a little more water.
- 6. If the dough is too wet, add a little flour.
- 7. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 8. Line two baking sheets with baking paper.
- 9. Divide the dough in half.
- 10. Roll each half out very thinly (2 to 3 millimeters).
- 11. Cut the dough into rectangles of about 4 by 8 centimeters using a pastry wheel.
- 12. Bake the crackers for about 20 minutes in the oven.
- 13. Remove the crackers from the oven when they are light brown.
- 14. Let the crackers cool down completely together with the baking paper.
- 15. Pack the finished crackers into a container, for example for gifting.
- 16. They will stay fresh for 2 to 3 weeks this way.
