  3. 3. Heat the oil in a pot.
  4. 4. Sauté the vegetables briefly until translucent.
  5. 5. Stir in the tomato paste.
  6. 6. Cook the tomato paste for 1 to 2 minutes.
  7. 7. Add the vinegar.
  8. 8. Simmer the mixture for about 1 minute.
  9. 9. Add the tomatoes.
  10. 10. Add the soy sauce.
  11. 11. Add the apple syrup.
  12. 12. Add the curry powder.
  13. 13. Add a few drops of Tabasco sauce.
  14. 14. Let the sauce simmer uncovered while stirring frequently for about 10 minutes.
  15. 15. Reduce the heat.
  16. 16. Cover the pot.
  17. 17. Let the sauce simmer gently for another 10 minutes.
  18. 18. Season the sauce to taste with salt, pepper, and Tabasco.
  19. 19. Let the sauce cool down completely.
  20. 20. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat.
  21. 21. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  22. 22. Wash the chicken drumsticks.
  23. 23. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with a kitchen towel.
  24. 24. Carefully loosen the skin from the drumsticks.
  25. 25. Push the skin down towards the bottom.
  26. 26. Spread the prepared seasoning sauce evenly over the meat.
  27. 27. Pull the skin back up as much as possible.
  28. 28. Place the drumsticks on the prepared baking sheet.
  29. 29. Bake the drumsticks for about 25 minutes.
  30. 30. Baste the chicken pieces with the remaining sauce repeatedly during the baking time.
  31. 31. Serve the leftover sauce separately on the side.
