🍽️ Lavender Physalis Compote

Ingredients
- 300 g Physalis (2 small bowls)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp dried lavender flowers
Instructions
- 1. Remove the papery husks from the physalis fruits.
- 2. Cut the cleaned physalis halves in half.
- 3. Place the physalis in a bowl.
- 4. Sprinkle sugar over the fruits.
- 5. Add lemon juice.
- 6. Mix everything well together.
- 7. Take dried lavender.
- 8. Crush the lavender finely in a mortar.
- 9. Place the physalis in a cooking pot.
- 10. Add only a little water.
- 11. Make sure the top layer of fruits does not float in the water.
- 12. Add the crushed lavender to the pot.
- 13. Let the mixture come to a boil briefly.
- 14. Reduce the heat to a low setting.
- 15. Let the compote simmer for about two to three minutes.
- 16. Serve the compote as a dessert.
- 17. Or serve it as a side dish with meat or fish dishes.
