🍽️ Chocolate Plum Jam

Ingredients
- 1.2 kg blue plums (prunes)
- 500 g jam sugar (2:1)
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 40 g cocoa powder (dark chocolate)
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the plums under running water.
- 2. Cut the plums in half and remove the pits.
- 3. Puree the plum flesh until smooth.
- 4. Mix the puree with the lemon juice and the jam sugar.
- 5. Place the mixture in a large pot.
- 6. Heat the mixture over high heat.
- 7. Stir constantly until the jam comes to a boil.
- 8. Let the jam boil vigorously for 4 minutes.
- 9. Keep stirring to prevent burning.
- 10. Stir in the cocoa powder at the end.
- 11. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 12. Rinse the jars with hot water.
- 13. Fill the hot jam immediately into the hot jars to the brim.
- 14. Seal the jars immediately with the screw-top lids.
- 15. Place the jars upside down on their lids for 10 minutes.
- 16. Then turn the jars right side up again.
- 17. Let the jam cool down completely.
