Ingredients
- 400 g ripe plums
- 200 g whole cane sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 piece untreated orange peel
- 0.5 l vodka
- 0.5 l grain alcohol
Instructions
- 1. Wash the plums thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the stones from the fruit.
- 3. Cut the plums in half.
- 4. Place the plums into a large bottle with a wide belly.
- 5. Add the sugar to the bottle.
- 6. Add the cinnamon stick to the bottle.
- 7. Add the orange peel to the bottle.
- 8. Pour the vodka into the bottle.
- 9. Pour the grain alcohol into the bottle.
- 10. Seal the bottle tightly.
- 11. Place the bottle in a dark and cool spot.
- 12. Let the liqueur infuse for about 2 weeks.
- 13. Shake the bottle occasionally.
- 14. Make sure the sugar dissolves well.
- 15. Filter the finished liqueur.
- 16. Pour the liqueur into a decanter.
- 17. Let the liqueur rest for another 2 weeks after filtering.
