Ingredients
- 1 kg blue plums
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 5 cloves
- 1 lemon (sliced)
- 1 bottle grain alcohol
- 0.5 bottle rum
Instructions
- 1. Pit the plums.
- 2. Place the pitted fruits and spices into a suitable jar.
- 3. Pour the alcohol over the fruits.
- 4. Ensure that the plums are completely covered by the liquid.
- 5. Seal the jar airtight.
- 6. Place the jar in a warm spot.
- 7. Let the mixture infuse for two to three weeks.
- 8. Strain the liqueur through a fine sieve.
- 9. Dissolve 200 grams of sugar in 250 milliliters of water.
- 10. Allow the sugar solution to cool down completely.
- 11. Mix the cooled sugar solution with the strained plum infusion.
- 12. Taste the liqueur and adjust the flavor if necessary.
- 13. Fill the finished liqueur into clean bottles.
- 14. Seal the bottles tightly.
- 15. Let the liqueur mature for three to four months.
