🍽️ Homemade Plum Chutney

Ingredients
- 500 g plums
- 400 g fresh figs
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 250 ml white wine vinegar
- 200 ml orange juice
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- salt (pepper)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the plums thoroughly.
- 2. Halve the plums and remove the pits.
- 3. Cut the pitted plums into quarters.
- 4. Wash the figs.
- 5. Cut the figs into coarse pieces.
- 6. Place the plums and figs in a pot.
- 7. Add the sugar.
- 8. Pour in the vinegar.
- 9. Add the mustard seeds to the pot.
- 10. Add the ginger.
- 11. Season with salt.
- 12. Season with pepper.
- 13. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 14. Let the chutney simmer for 45 minutes.
- 15. Fill the hot chutney into prepared jars.
- 16. Seal the jars tightly.
