Ingredients
- 100 g large plums (Egg plum, 1 large plum) or 3 small plums
- 20 g wheat flakes (2 tbsp)
- 1 tsp rapeseed oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the plum under cold running water.
- 2. Pat the fruit dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the plum in half.
- 4. Remove the stone from each half.
- 5. Dice the fruit flesh into small cubes.
- 6. Place the wheat flakes into a pot.
- 7. Pour about 125 milliliters of water over the flakes.
- 8. Stir the mixture with a spoon.
- 9. Place the pot on the stove.
- 10. Set the heat to the lowest setting.
- 11. Heat the mixture until it boils.
- 12. Add the plum cubes to the pot.
- 13. Stir the ingredients together.
- 14. Let the porridge simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 15. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 16. Add the oil to the warm oat mixture.
- 17. Stir the oil in thoroughly.
- 18. Blend the porridge with a hand blender if you prefer a smooth texture.
