  1. 1. Rinse the plum under cold running water.
  2. 2. Pat the fruit dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Cut the plum in half.
  4. 4. Remove the stone from each half.
  5. 5. Dice the fruit flesh into small cubes.
  6. 6. Place the wheat flakes into a pot.
  7. 7. Pour about 125 milliliters of water over the flakes.
  8. 8. Stir the mixture with a spoon.
  9. 9. Place the pot on the stove.
  10. 10. Set the heat to the lowest setting.
  11. 11. Heat the mixture until it boils.
  12. 12. Add the plum cubes to the pot.
  13. 13. Stir the ingredients together.
  14. 14. Let the porridge simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  15. 15. Remove the pot from the heat.
  16. 16. Add the oil to the warm oat mixture.
  17. 17. Stir the oil in thoroughly.
  18. 18. Blend the porridge with a hand blender if you prefer a smooth texture.
