🍽️ Plums in Red Wine and Vinegar

Ingredients
- 800 g plums
- 500 g sugar
- 50 ml red wine vinegar
- 500 ml red wine
- 5 cloves
- 30 freshly grated ginger
- 3 cinnamon sticks
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the plums under running water.
- 2. Cut the plums in half and remove the pits.
- 3. Place the halved plums into a large pot.
- 4. Add the sugar, red wine vinegar, red wine, cloves, ginger, and cinnamon to the pot.
- 5. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it begins to simmer gently.
- 6. Let the plums cook for about 15 minutes over low heat.
- 7. Immediately fill the hot plums and liquid into well-rinsed jars.
- 8. Seal the jars tightly.
- 9. Allow the jars to cool, then serve the plums chilled.
