🍰 Juicy Peach Cake

Ingredients
- 500 g peaches
- butter (for the pan)
- flour (for the pan)
- 120 g soft butter
- 120 g peach syrup
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 2 eggs
- 300 g flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 80 g yogurt
Instructions
- 1. Wash the peaches under running water.
- 2. Remove the pits from the fruits.
- 3. Slice the flesh into thin wedges.
- 4. Grease a springform pan with butter.
- 5. Dust the pan lightly with flour.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 7. Whisk the butter with the syrup and vanilla sugar.
- 8. Beat the mixture until creamy.
- 9. Stir the eggs into the butter mixture one by one.
- 10. Mix the flour with the baking powder and the salt.
- 11. Add the dry mixture and the yogurt to the batter alternately.
- 12. Stir the batter until smooth.
- 13. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
- 14. Arrange the peach wedges in a fan shape on the batter.
- 15. Press the fruits slightly into the batter.
- 16. Bake the cake in the oven for about 40 minutes.
- 17. Let the cake cool down completely.
- 18. Cut the cake into pieces.
- 19. Serve the cake with whipped cream if you like.
