🍳 Homemade Peach Jam

Ingredients
- 1.1 kg peaches
- 2 lemons (juiced)
- 500 g jam sugar (2:1)
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the peaches under running water.
- 2. Briefly dip the peaches into boiling water to loosen the skin (this is called blanching).
- 3. Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits.
- 4. Puree half of the peach halves with the lemon juice until smooth.
- 5. Dice the other half of the peaches into very small cubes.
- 6. Place the fruit puree, the peach cubes, and the jam sugar into a pot.
- 7. Let the mixture sit overnight.
- 8. Heat the mixture over high heat and stir constantly.
- 9. Let the jam boil vigorously for 4 minutes.
- 10. Fill the hot jam to the brim into well-rinsed jars.
- 11. Seal the jars immediately after filling.
