🍳 Fresh homemade peach jam

Ingredients
- 1 kg peaches
- 2 lemons
- Jam sugar 2:1 in a 2:1 ratio (for 1 kg fruit mass, use 500 g jam sugar)
- 2 tbsp peach or apricot liqueur
Instructions
- 1. Briefly pour boiling water over the peaches to help the skin loosen easily.
- 2. Peel off the skin, halve the fruits, and remove the pits.
- 3. Cut the flesh into small cubes.
- 4. Place the peach pieces into a pot.
- 5. Squeeze the lemon and add the juice to the fruit.
- 6. Weigh the entire fruit mixture.
- 7. Take double the amount of jam sugar (ratio 2:1) and stir it into the fruit.
- 8. Let the mixture sit at room temperature for about 3 hours.
- 9. Place the pot on the stove and stir.
- 10. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 11. Let it bubble vigorously for 3 minutes from this point.
- 12. Stir the peach or apricot liqueur into the warm fruit puree.
- 13. Fill the jam immediately into hot-rinsed jars.
- 14. Let the jars cool upside down for 15 minutes.
- 15. Turn the jars right side up and let them cool completely.
