  2. 2. Remove the peaches immediately and plunge them into ice water to stop the cooking process.
  3. 3. Peel the skin off the peaches.
  4. 4. Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits.
  5. 5. Dice the fruit flesh into small cubes.
  6. 6. Place the peach pieces into a pot.
  7. 7. Pour in orange juice until the total liquid volume reaches 800 milliliters.
  8. 8. Sweeten the mixture to your liking with sugar.
  9. 9. Bring the peach mixture to a boil in the pot.
  10. 10. Mix cornstarch with a little cold water in a small bowl.
  11. 11. Pour the starch-water mixture into the boiling peach soup.
  12. 12. Stir briefly to thicken the soup.
  13. 13. Fill the warm soup into individual glasses.
  14. 14. Place the glasses in the refrigerator until the soup is completely cooled down.
  15. 15. Whip cream with powdered sugar and a pinch of cinnamon until stiff.
  16. 16. Place a dollop of whipped cream on each glass of cold soup.
  17. 17. Lightly dust the surface of the cold soup with cinnamon.
