  2. 2. Wash the peaches thoroughly.
  3. 3. Carefully cut the peaches in half.
  4. 4. Twist out the pits carefully.
  5. 5. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  6. 6. Place the peach halves in the dish with the curved side facing down.
  7. 7. Brush the peach halves with melted butter.
  8. 8. Put the amaretti cookies into a freezer bag.
  9. 9. Crush the cookies into small pieces using a rolling pin.
  10. 10. Fill the crumbs into the hollows of the peach halves.
  11. 11. Place a dollop of cream cheese on each filled peach half.
  12. 12. Place the baking dish under the hot grill.
  13. 13. Bake the peaches for about 5 minutes.
  14. 14. Sprinkle brown sugar over the peaches.
  15. 15. Grill the peaches for another 2 minutes.
