🥤 Refreshing Peach and Basil Bowl

Ingredients
- 4 peaches
- 10 g ginger
- 1 untreated lemon
- 60 ml ginger liqueur
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 250 ml orange juice
- 1 handful basil
- 1 bottle cold prosecco (750 ml)
Instructions
- 1. Pour boiling water over the peaches.
- 2. Immediately rinse the fruits under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 3. Peel the skin off the peaches.
- 4. Cut the fruits in half.
- 5. Remove the pits.
- 6. Dice the flesh into small pieces.
- 7. Place the peach pieces in a large pitcher.
- 8. Peel the ginger.
- 9. Grate the ginger finely.
- 10. Wash the lemon under hot water.
- 11. Peel off the zest thinly, avoiding the white pith.
- 12. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
- 13. Add the grated ginger to the peaches.
- 14. Add the lemon zest to the peaches.
- 15. Add the lemon juice to the peaches.
- 16. Add the liqueur to the peaches.
- 17. Add the sugar to the peaches.
- 18. Add the orange juice to the peaches.
- 19. Mix everything well.
- 20. Place the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- 21. Rinse the basil.
- 22. Shake the basil dry.
- 23. Pluck the basil leaves.
- 24. Add the basil leaves to the peaches.
- 25. Top off the bowl with cold prosecco.
- 26. Serve the bowl.
