🍽️ Juicy Pepper Steaks with Colorful Vegetables

Ingredients
- 4 Steaks (about 180 g each)
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- Sea salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 6 Bell peppers (red, green and yellow)
- 200 g Oyster mushrooms
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 100 degrees Celsius using the top and bottom heat setting.
- 2. Rinse the filet steaks under running water. Then pat them completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan. Sear the steaks on all sides until they form a brown crust.
- 4. Season the steaks with salt and black pepper. Then place them on a baking sheet.
- 5. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Let the steaks cook there for 10 to 25 minutes, depending on how well-done you prefer the meat.
- 6. Turn the steaks over occasionally during cooking to ensure they cook evenly.
- 7. Wash the bell peppers and remove the inside with the seeds. Cut the flesh into rings.
- 8. Clean the oyster mushrooms. This means removing the tough stem ends and slicing the mushrooms into thin strips.
- 9. Fry the mushroom strips in the remaining cooking fat from the pan for 1 to 2 minutes.
- 10. Add the pepper rings to the pan. Simmer the vegetables together for about 2 to 3 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- 11. Finally, season the vegetables with salt and pepper.
- 12. Take the meat out of the oven. Divide the vegetables among the plates.
- 13. Place the finished steaks on top of the vegetables. Crush fresh black pepper coarsely and sprinkle it over the meat. Serve the dish immediately.
