  1. 1. Whisk the eggs, flour, milk, a pinch of salt, and baking powder together until you have a smooth batter.
  2. 2. Heat some ghee in a frying pan.
  3. 3. Pour one ladleful of batter into the pan.
  4. 4. Tilt and rotate the pan to spread the batter evenly.
  5. 5. Fry the pancake until golden brown on both sides.
  6. 6. Remove the finished pancake from the pan.
  7. 7. Keep the pancake warm in the oven at 80 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat).
  8. 8. Repeat the process with the remaining batter until you have baked a total of 8 pancakes.
  9. 9. Peel the onions and cut them into thin strips.
  10. 10. Pit the dates and cut them into strips as well.
  11. 11. Roughly chop the nuts.
  12. 12. Lightly toast the nuts in a hot pan.
  13. 13. Add the butter to the pan and let it melt.
  14. 14. Add the onion strips to the pan and sauté them until golden yellow.
  15. 15. Add the date strips.
  16. 16. Drizzle the honey over the mixture.
  17. 17. Let the mixture caramelize slightly.
  18. 18. Rinse the spring onions.
  19. 19. Trim the spring onions.
  20. 20. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
  21. 21. Cover half of the pancakes with the onion-date mixture.
  22. 22. Fold the pancakes in half.
  23. 23. Plate the pancakes.
  24. 24. Sprinkle the pancakes with the spring onion rings.
  25. 25. Serve the pancakes.
