  1. 1. Cut the bacon into thin strips. Heat the butter in a large pan and fry the bacon in it for about 6 minutes until crispy. Add the pasta after one minute. Remove everything from the pan and keep it warm.
  2. 2. Sauté the vegetables briefly in the frying fat. Add the tomatoes, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Wash the oregano, shake it dry, pluck the leaves from the stems (except a few for garnish), and chop them finely.
  3. 3. Cut the mozzarella into cubes. Add the pasta and mozzarella to the sauce. Sprinkle everything with the chopped oregano and garnish with the remaining leaves.
