🍽️ Creamy Parsley Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1 kg floury potatoes
- Salt
- 250 ml Milk
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- Nutmeg
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the potatoes under running water.
- 2. Peel the potatoes completely.
- 3. Fill a pot with water and add some salt.
- 4. Place the peeled potatoes into the salted water.
- 5. Cook the potatoes over medium heat for about 30 minutes until they are soft.
- 6. Drain the cooking water from the potatoes.
- 7. Press the hot potatoes through a potato ricer into a clean bowl.
- 8. Pour the hot milk over the mashed potatoes.
- 9. Add the butter to the mash.
- 10. Finely chop the parsley and add it.
- 11. Stir everything well with a cooking spoon until a creamy mixture forms.
- 12. Season the mash to taste with salt.
- 13. Add a pinch of ground nutmeg.
- 14. Serve the mashed potatoes immediately while warm.
