🍽️ Penne with Tuna

Ingredients
- 400 g Penne
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 shallot
- 300 g cherry tomatoes
- 270 g tuna (from the can, in its own juice)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp capers
- 2 tbsp pepper puree
- pepper
- 60 g Parmesan (grated)
Instructions
- 1. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions until al dente (firm to the bite).
- 2. Peel the garlic and the shallot and chop them finely.
- 3. Wash the tomatoes, pat them dry, and cut them into quarters.
- 4. Drain the tuna water and flake the fish with a fork.
- 5. Heat the oil in a pan.
- 6. Sauté the garlic and shallot in the oil.
- 7. Add the tomatoes, capers, and paprika puree to the pan.
- 8. Let the sauce simmer for another 3 to 4 minutes.
- 9. Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce becomes too thick.
- 10. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 11. Drain the pasta.
- 12. Mix the pasta and tuna with the sauce.
- 13. Heat the mixture once more briefly.
- 14. Adjust the seasoning of the dish with salt and pepper.
- 15. Plate the pasta.
- 16. Sprinkle the dish with Parmesan and serve.
