  1. 1. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions until al dente (firm to the bite).
  2. 2. Peel the garlic and the shallot and chop them finely.
  3. 3. Wash the tomatoes, pat them dry, and cut them into quarters.
  4. 4. Drain the tuna water and flake the fish with a fork.
  5. 5. Heat the oil in a pan.
  6. 6. Sauté the garlic and shallot in the oil.
  7. 7. Add the tomatoes, capers, and paprika puree to the pan.
  8. 8. Let the sauce simmer for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  9. 9. Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce becomes too thick.
  10. 10. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  11. 11. Drain the pasta.
  12. 12. Mix the pasta and tuna with the sauce.
  13. 13. Heat the mixture once more briefly.
  14. 14. Adjust the seasoning of the dish with salt and pepper.
  15. 15. Plate the pasta.
  16. 16. Sprinkle the dish with Parmesan and serve.
