  1. 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and place them in a pot. Cover with water, add salt and cumin, and cook covered for 20 to 25 minutes until tender. Drain the water and let them cool down slightly.
  2. 2. Clean the leek and discard the dark green leaves. Slice the rest into thin rings and wash them. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
  3. 3. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the bacon until crispy. Add the wet leek and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season everything with salt and pepper.
  4. 4. Carefully scoop out the inside of the potatoes on one side using a special spoon. Fill the potatoes with the leek and bacon mixture. Place them in a baking dish and bake in the hot oven for about 20 minutes.
